Bronchitis is the inflammation of the tissue that covers the bronchial conducts ,which connect the trachea to the lungs. This delicate tissue produces mucus, covers and protects the respiratory system, organs and tissues related to the breathing process. When a person suffers from bronchitis it can be harder for the air to make its natural way in and out of the lungs; the tissues get irritated and as a consequence, more mucus is produced. The most common symptom of bronchitis is cough.
